Housing in Africa needed a new idea.
Millions of capable people are locked out of home ownership — not for lack of ambition, but because land and finance are out of reach. Micro Haven exists to change that.

Across the continent, the dream of owning a home has drifted further out of reach. The cost of land alone can take a lifetime to save for — and traditional housing assumes you buy that land first, then build, then wait.
The result is a generation of young professionals, growing families, and hard-working people priced out of a basic human need. We believed there had to be a better way.
Micro Haven is that better way — a platform that reorganises how homes are owned, financed, and lived in across Africa.
Nigeria alone faces a housing deficit of over 17 million homes. Micro Haven is not trying to solve all of it at once. We are solving it one community at a time — starting in Abuja, 2026.

Mary Hyeladzira Kolo — Founder
Built by someone who believes it can be different.
Mary Hyeladzira Kolo founded Micro Haven after watching capable, hardworking people — professionals, families, returning diaspora — locked out of home ownership not because of laziness, but because the system was never designed to include them.
She built Micro Haven to change that. Not through charity. Not through compromise. But through a new category of housing — structured, dignified, community-centred, and built for real African life.
Our pilot community is the beginning.
Three parts. One ecosystem.
Micro Haven does not operate alone. Every community is backed by a professional management partner and, where co-ownership exists, a governance layer that protects everyone's rights.
Micro Haven™
Deal originator & Developer
Finds the land. Builds the community. Structures every deal. Signs agreements, collects payments, and hands over a complete, functioning community.
Maryland Real Estate Services
Property Management Partner
Takes operational control after every Micro Haven deal closes. Manages maintenance, service charges, resident relations, and day-to-day community operations. A Micro Haven partner.
TitleShield™
Co-ownership Governance
Comes in when two or more parties share a legal interest in one asset — rent-to-own arrangements, group ownership, joint ventures. Protects rights. Records interests. Governs succession.
Together, they form a complete housing ecosystem. The first of its kind in Africa.
Dignity
Every home is designed to be beautiful, comfortable, and something to be proud of — never a compromise.
Affordability
By separating the home from the land, we remove the single biggest barrier to ownership.
Sustainability
Solar-ready homes, shared infrastructure, and green communities built to last generations.
