Home ownership

Own a Micro Haven home.

Start here if you know you want to own — and want to understand the home types and ownership paths before choosing a product.

The three home types

Shared across both Haven Communities and Haven Lots™, our plot-matching marketplace.

Haven Solo

studio living

One open studio space with a small kitchenette and a compact wet room (shower, sink, WC in one). A private entrance, its own solar system (panel, battery, inverter) covering lighting, fans, phone charging and small appliances, full electrical wiring, painted interior walls, and proper floor covering — all standard, not add-ons. Built for someone who wants their own place without paying for rooms they won't use: single professionals, young earners just starting out.

Haven One

one-bedroom, refined

A separate bedroom, a proper living area, and a full kitchen — not a kitchenette. Same standard build quality and solar system as Solo, scaled up with more windows and sockets for the larger space. Built for young professionals or a couple who want distinct living and sleeping spaces, not everything in one room.

Haven Duo

two-bedroom, room to grow

Living room, kitchen, bathroom, plus a flexible extra room — a second bedroom, a home office, a nursery, whatever the household needs it to be. The largest of the three, with the most windows and sockets. Built for small families or growing couples who need more than a single bedroom, without the cost and commitment of a full house.

All three share the same certified build quality and standard solar system — the difference is space, not quality.

Exact dimensions, socket and window counts, and full technical specifications are available to verified account holders.

Rent-to-OwnMonthly payments build your beneficial interest; full ownership transfers at term endHaven Communities
Group/CooperativeMultiple people co-own and typically share use of the unit(s); shares and governance defined upfrontHaven Communities
Diaspora OwnershipFully remote purchase process; MRES manages the property locallyHaven Communities
Haven Flex — own to earnBuy one titled unit; MRES manages it; you earn rental income from your specific unit — an ownership path, not a separate home typeHaven Communities
Own + PlaceOwn your modular home outright from day one; pay lot rent for a governed, serviced plot inside the cityHaven Lots™ — find a plot for your home

Land is never something you buy, on either path. You always own your home structure — Micro Haven's relationship to the land varies by site and product, but it's never sold to you. This is why your home's price never carries a land-cost premium.

Financing options — coming soon. We're working on additional ways to make ownership more accessible.
